GENERAL INFORMATION
RT type load cells are manufactured from special alloy aluminum and reinforced with an anodized coating to increase resistance against corrosion and industrial conditions. Operating on the "bending beam" principle, these cells offer the flexibility to measure in compression, tension, or both directions. One of the most important features that makes this series special is its ability to operate with high precision even on platforms up to 60cm x 60cm where the load application point is variable (regardless of where the load is placed on the platform). The interior, containing sensitive electronic circuits, is covered with a special silicone filling to provide full protection against moisture and dust. With the IP68 metal gland used at the cable exit and its 3-meter standard shielded cable, it provides maximum protection against external environmental effects.
